Default Volt HID conversion kit HELP!!!

Installed the kit and it ran fine for two days. Then on my way to work today the driver side bulb died... i havent opened up the hood to check yet but has anyone else had this issue. If so is it usually just the wiring somewhere or more likely is it the bulb??

If you went with a 35w kit I think you should be fine, its probably an unlucky bulb. Have you tried turning it on/off?

I just fixed it. The ballast was a little loose so one of the wires came undone because I forgot to ziptie it all the way when I finished installing the kit lol fail on my part.

Ok so new "problem" lol. When I start my car only the passenger side light goes on, but when i turn the lights off then on they work fine...its happened two days in a row now. Wondering what could possibly cause that error.

Its just the way Volt kit is and its not the kit's fault. Our OEM harness is not supplying enough power to it on start up. For some people relay harness solves the issue for some not.. So you either have to turn them manually every time or get the Xtreme kit.

Well the weird thing is the guy i spoke with at customer service said he's never heard of it happening to is250 and that it shouldn't need a relay harness.

Yes it doesn't need a relay harness. And relay harness most likely will not solve the problem, but there are few cases where relay harness helped. Also battery might have effect as well.
I don't know who did you talk to, but if you call and ask for Steve he will explain it to you really well. They are aware of this issue.
