Hey guys, I came to notice something really weird which I figured I bounce off you guys just to confirm if coincidence here plays a part.

About 2-3 months ago: My VSC light came on pushing a code which I don't recall now, but after doing some research online I just changed out my fuel cap and surely it went away on its own. Anyways, right before I did my search I remembered that the only out of the ordinary thing I did a day before was use my windshield washer while sitting at a drive thru, and about 30 mins later my VSC light had come on, I recall wondering if maybe a washer line was cut and had dripped water on some electronic sensor or something. I didn't think much of it after the fix.

Yesterday: coming back from moms house on freeway I used my wiper washer again and this morning my VSC light came up, huh sooo weird? immediately this sparked my last recollection of this waning light. This time a different code P0158 (o2 sensor)

could it be possible a water leak from the washer fluid lines plays a part? or just coincidence?

I am guessing you mean CEL (check engine light) came on? If so, find out what the code is first. Then open the hood and see if you got leaky washer tube. The line should be easy to find.

Was it just the VSC light ? Or was it the ABS light and the skid icon as well ?

I guess my question was if a leaky washer tube, can really be the culprit of something like this or am I just being fooled by my imagination? lol

it was the VSC center console warning, Red Triangle icon, and yellow bottom right skid light.

update: Ok, so after running around all day, just about to head home started up the car and poof No More VSC warnings. Now am really leaning toward a leaky washer fluid tube being the issue because no way code comes and leaves in one day.

I will check tubes in theses couple days.

Make sure that when you put your fuel cap on that it clicks at least once.
Did you just recently install an intake? Make sure you connected back the only small rubber house. I forgot once and my car would also randomly throw the warnings up but other days it wouldn't until I realized it was the rubber house I forgot to connect.

My buddy just had his VSC light come on his IS250.. Took off his MAF sensor, cleaned it with carb cleaner and hes been good ever since.

Have you confirmed there's an actual leak in the washer fluid lines? Have you just sat there and let the washer fluid run thru for about 30-40 secs to see of there's a puddle anywhere there shouldn't be?
