hey guys in my 07 is350 my ML subs are making rattling noise not to much but is there and is pissing me of badly any suggestion on what fits back there as in aftermarket would really appreciate the help
The ml sub was specifically designed for the is. There is no aftermarket drop and plug and play. Better off removing the oem sub and installing an 8" -10" sub and box. Maybe a free air sub. Free air sub to save room and almost use the factory location.
Is it rattling because your rear speakers are loose? That is happening to me as well. I am under warranty and I took it to the dealership. They said they had to replace the whole console itself, which costs roughly 700$ plus the labor which I forgot what they quoted me.
All it really is, is a few screws that went lose inside. Well if that is the case.
Yeah i read that many get the custom audio for the rear subs because of this issue.
Even with the ML... that is quite sad :[
Lexus needs to upgrade their sound system!
Many other cars have Bose or Logics for the base cars!
I ****ing love lexus but their speakers need some work so it seems
Yup, probably a blown ML sub. This is the best OEM-like subwoofer box I know of: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...x-is-back.html. Just remove the OEM ML sub entirely and let the bass vent into the cabin if you go that route.

so I’m having a similar problem I think. It only started about a month ago and I took it apart and nothing was loose but the speaker still sounds odd. I’m 17 so I don’t know what a blown speaker sounds like. Would you be able to help tell me if that is what is going on? I tried to reseal a crack on the side of it and that helped a little bit but it didn’t fix the problem completely. Thanks whenever you could get back to me. Also the video is kinda hard to hear it but it is definitely there. I can get a better vid if you need. Thanks
