Well looks like my ML sub blew recently and I was wondering if the dealer will fix it. My car is a 2002 UL with 32k miles. I read that the JL sub is a perfect replacement but I'm worried it will lose some clarity since its not IB. Thanks.

 

Not sure when you bought the car, but it might still be under warrenty. I would try with the dealer to have them replace it, even if your warrenty just expired. Then you can do whatever you want with the JL sub in the future. For now, you wont have a blown ML at least.

 

yes even if your car is just out of warrant, i would talk to them and see if they can good will it
