I just replaced my stock bulbs to a pair of MTEC 6000k bulbs, and it does not seem to have any blue hint when it warm up, pretty much like the stock bulbs but little whiter, they dont even match my VLED 6000k parking lights....should I let them burn for few day and will the color change? or everyones 6000k look like this too? anyone have PIC of their 6000K?
the first pic is when they warm up, and the 2nd pic is after they warm up.
I actually haven't installed them yet because I am receiving more bulbs in the mail sometime this week. I'm awaiting some 5000k bulbs and going to see which ones match the led strip better.
Well since you have two different brand name bulbs - X Kelvin does not imply X color. They vary from brand to brand, however unless they are the same brand, it would likely be able to color match.
In my case, I have Philips Ultinon 6000K HID bulbs and they match perfectly with Philips Ultinon 6000K LED parking lights.
Okay, just installed the 6000k MTEC h11 fogs and they look exactly like your low beams. They are pure white with no hint of blue. I have a 2011, and the bulbs are actually whiter than the led DRLs. I had ordered some V-LED 5000k D4S and H11 bulbs and they match the strip perfectly. I liked the look of my 8000k bulbs, but the 5000k bulbs look much cleaner, so I have some 6000k H11 MTEC bulbs up for grabs. I'm going to post them in the classifieds section now.
