Default anybody know about D4S bulbs..........

I am thinking about ordering the 6000k low beam HID bulbs. My question is this........if the stock bulbs are 4300k, is there any possible harm that I could do to the ballast by installing the 6000k bulbs? In other words, does this affect the wattage or anything? If anyone could help, it would certainly be appreciated.

You'll be fine, no damages will happen to the ballast.

What's wrong with 4300K? Best light output and color flicker....

No harm, and if you're going 6000K most would recommend Garax. BTW, the stock HIDs in the 2IS are 4100K, not 4300K.

The way the 2IS projectors are designed (i.e. poorly) in combination with the fresnel lens means there's almost no flicker anyway. If you really want flicker, do something like this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-progress.html

Philips Ultinon 6000K if you want to stick with OEM brand and willing to pay for the price.
