Default Shaving the trunk

For those of you guys who have done this, is the piece that the emblems attach to plastic? I'm taking it off tomorrow to fill in the holes and need to know if it's metal or plastic...I don't have a magnet handy.

Thanks!

The trunklid is steel, the trim panel with the "LEXUS" and "ISX50" emblems is plastic.

Not sure if you were asking me, but I had ALL the rear and quarter panels when I had the kit painted and Wald molded. A Lot. If you went in to have that rear piece without having the L removed I'd say about $500. Shop rates are $90+ an hour, so you figure 4 - 5 hours. That's a rough estimate.

I was quoted $200-$300 to fill those 4 tiny holes behind the emblems.

that panel isn't metal. it's some type of plastic material... fiberglass? polyurethane?
