why do want to debadge???? I feel like when I see a car with the emblems removed the owner removed them only to hide the fact that we are driving the version with the bigger motor. I am proud of my V6

i think debadging makes a car look cleaner.

if you do remove them, i would suggest just getting strong fishing line. just so you know though, there are small holes behind the emblems so you would have to get it filled.

damn, that sucks. I didn't know that there are holes behind those badges. I guess I'll keep them on then.

Keep in mind that the little alignment holes exist behind all emblems. There are two per emblem. Additionally, the Lexus L logo doesn't lay flush with the trunk. There's a slightly raised bump where it sits. I wouldn't go through all the trouble you're looking at by doing this.

the holes are very small. have a body shop just fill them in. you'll have to repaint the trunk though

I love when photos and other aids are used to alienate new members. Feel the community.

I agree. A bit harsh for no reason. What worse is the added photo

Can a new GS be ordered without the emblems showing the model, leaving only the L in the centre? In Germany it is very popular to do so. For example BMW gives it as an option (not to have the model emblems).

not sure, i doubt it since im sure the trunks are all puched and pressed with the holes in them. i think either way you would have to have them filled.
