2010 Nav Disc
I'm working on a hybrid DVD now for 10.1. I wonder if a hybrid disc will lose the advantage of not having to hit "I Agree". I'm betting it will.
For those with the splice hack, how is it? Is the map jerky or is there no noticeable difference?
Even with the hybrid DVD you cannot perform certain tasks like pairing a phone. You also have to re-do it every time you start the engine.

^ If you do the hybrid nav it will maintain the "I Agree" button.
I don't understand. Are you saying your phone doesn't automatically connect everytime you start the car? It should.

I have an IS250 (non-ML, no DVD). The splice hack I performed allows me to sync my phone to bluetooth while the vehicel is in motion and browse through all my songs on the nav screen. It is great, there are no problems with the map, totally accurate as if nothing was done.
I also have the Vaistech MultiMediaLinQ installed, this automatically bypasses the 'i agree' screen after about 5 seconds. For those of you that don't have this unit, GET IT! It's so worth the money
