Default hesitant 3rd gear?

Anyone else noticed this? Every gear upchange is pretty smooth, except for the 2-3 shift. It seems to hang up and then shift kinda roughly, at least compared to the other gears.

No difference whether I'm in D or S, or if ECT is set to power or normal...

No. Try running your car in sport mode 6. Your ECU may have "learned" some awkward shifting behavior.

The only time I notice a laggy or late upshift to third is the first shift of the day. Like the transmission wants to hold the gear a little longer than usual. Not very noticeable but I can feel it.

Nope, not that I notice. I notice the car does not want to go to 6th if the car is not warm enough to do so.
