Pre-Torque Semi Limited Slip Differential
All but the latest ('10 and '11) IS Fs have open diffs with electronic limited slip via the rear calipers. There are tensioning washers in the differential's spur gears which act a little like a Phantom Grip, but they're only there to add a little bit of the limited slip effect.

I second that. You don't need a large amount of power to do a burnout. The only thing you need some power for in a burnout is for breaking traction, that's all. That doesn't take a whole lot. Once slipping, you just need to keep the hammer down. Sorry dude. I've had zero trouble lighting up the tires with my 3600lb, 206hp car.

It's no stranger to burn outs, drifts, being 70.4 mph slalom king (of it's class)
Sure it's slow, but I'd like to see an IS350 with an average driver keep up with me on the track
I'd LOVE to take you up on that challenge if you were closer. I'd need to change a few things up first, but I'm pretty confident I'd smoke just about anyone in a stock 250 on a track with my stock 350.
^^ I think you'd be surprised what a well trained driver can do on a track with a limited power supply vs a track noob. But 100hp goes a long way with a bit of experience
I've taken mine out to the track and taken down cars that, on paper, would have been considered faster. But I've also been taken to school by people with zero experience in faster cars. The only right answer is it depends.
But, either way, back to the original troll post/flaming; the IS250 can most definitely burnout and drift.

I thought smoking someone on a track usually refers to drag strip? We aren't talking about drag racing lol

IS250 drift.
I think sckc is refering to a drag. xhydra is referring to a actual track.

[QUOTE=CrtifiedMD;5879311]Don't all IS's have this? I was embarrassed to find out my 08 250 does a 1 wheel wonder burnout.[/QUOT
All the IS's have the pre torque lsd unless you have the torsen lsd. It only works if the load and speed differential are low.
