Does the card have a visa logo?

Had you actually purchased the extended warranty or did you successfully manage to finagle the $500 card without really having one?

If you're not going to use your card, I'm sure you'd be able to auction it off in a thread or the classifieds on here and get a good return in grocery cash.

 

i did not get my letter yet. How long does it take for you to get the letter after the job is done ?

 

No, I really do have one... I bought it specifically so that I'd qualify for the $500 card, figuring it was effectively paying for more than 1/3 of the warranty, and I'd planned to buy one anyway prior to the factory one expiring.... between that and the ML thing when I bought the car I effectively got my 8 yr warranty for free.



I suppose... though it has my name on it so not sure how easy it'd be for someone else to use it... and it'd be easier if I could just use it for groceries or gas or whatever directly though, and between the bank info not mentioning only lexus dealers, and the VISA logo, I figured it'd be worth trying...was just curious if anyone else had tried to use it in person (not over the net) at a non-dealer point of sale.

Same thing happened to me, already have the extended and they gave me powertrain. Called and told them and they are sending the card. Its suppose to take about a month. F-sport sway bars and front GFX here I come.

 

If you buy me 500 worth of stuff from sewell I can offer a 120 lowes card, 220 best buy + cash

 

So I'm scheduled to get the valve springs done in a couple of weeks. Also getting the pedal recall done as well. Since My car (06) has about 57,000 on the OD. Spark plugs should be changed at about 60,000. I asked the dealer could they put the spark plugs in at the time of the valve spring recall. Dealer is only charging me for the spark plugs.

Saves me the hassle of doing it myself. I think if the dealer would have done it any other time it would have cost about 300 bucks.

 

Bottom line can you use this card over the net on Sewell? Or do you have to do to the Lexus Dealer and buy parts there? Anyone have their card yet and spent it yet???

 

Park place at Dallas just cancelled my appointment due to running out of replacement parts ..

 

YES YOU CAN USE IT ON SEWELL WEBSITE. i am sure of this because i used mine to buy stuff from there. make sure you activate it first though.

 

How long was it before you guys received the gift cards?
