Will those wheels fit? START HERE.
I am in the process of selling a fast car I have tracked (road courses) for the past few years. I miss the venue and wish to continue participating in an occasional high-speed driving event with what is left; that being my 2006 IS 350.
My needs will be different from most. I'm not looking to flush out a tire with the fender or anything like that. I have been reading various threads for the last 3 days and can't find much info relating to anyone who takes their 2IS to road courses such as Road Atlanta.
I am going to get either JIC or KW V3 coilovers and hope to lower the ride height by about 2 inches. I will be running Hoosier R6 slicks and my question to anyone is how much rubber can I get in these wheel wells? I want to run the widest possible wheel and tire combination without getting into issues with rubbing on the outside/inside or wrecking the wheel well sheet metal in the front with a sharp turn. I'll be rolling the metal X 4. I don't care how much I might rub the liners.
The pads and rotors will be aftermarket but the calipers will be stock. The car will also be a daily driver by making a tire/wheel swap. Can anyone give me advice on wheel sizes and offsets that will meet my needs? If so, who makes such a wheel? Not looking for beautiful but strong with the proper offsets. Is there a thread/forum for the Lexus that is more track oriented?
I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong place. It is my first interaction after nearly 3 years of membership.

I'm grabbing my brothers rims off his G35. They're Roja R2's and I was just wondering if they'd fit on my 2010 IS350 before I decide to spend money on some lug nuts.
19x9.5 +10
19x10.5 +19
Thanks!

Would these fit with no rubbing, on stock fenders. No drop yet, but will drop on Tein S-Techs...
Front: 18"x8.5" + 40----- 235/40/18
Rear: 18"x10" +40 ------- 255/4018

I have the IS250 AWD, I'm thinking about getting the Linea Corse LC818..
Front: 19x8.5 +30 [235/35/19]
Rear: 19x10 +38 [275/30/19]
If I get road magnets springs for the AWD, will it rub with the LC818?
