Plenty of people can help you, but you're asking the same question that's been asked about 500 times right now. And a simple search would have yielded the answers of the last 10 people to ask this question last week.

The back wheel at a +36 should be fine with a 265, but there is a slight chance it might rub. I'm running a 20x10 +30 and had to roll the fenders and put a 255 on there. With the front, the +30 should work fine. I'm running 20x8.5 +33 and it's working well. A +45 would work, but probably wouldn't clear the brakes on the 350. The problem with a +30 is that it might rub. My +33 doesn't rub, but it's close.

I made a mistake. The front wheels are +35 offset, not 30.... Does that mean there is a less chance it will rub?

+35 would have less chance of rubbing yes. It's a better offset for those not wanting to get too aggressive.

for 20s the best offset is
20x9 = 28
20x10 = 28
thats the flushest possible, yes ur gonna rub but u will gets ur props, u just need to shave the fenders and push the lining back i currently have 20x9 offset 32 20x10 offset 32 looks flush right now but can be more aggressive i run also 245/30/20 275/30/20

I dont mind heating up the lining but I do not want to roll the fenders. I spoke to a few places about tires because I am getting the wheels for about 900 shipped but no tires. I was told I am going to rub in the back and i'll need to roll my fenders, is this true?... I am thinking 255 or 265 back and 225's up front.

Another option I have is running 8.5's all the way around with wider tires in the back...

What do you guys think?

Default Another IS250 AWD fitment question

so I'm thinking about change my rims, just thinking about it.

current setup is:

(F) 19x9 +22 225-35-19
(R) 19x10 +22 235-35-19

now i want to keep the rims just as flush as they are now.
so keeping the front size and offset would be fine.

since its an AWD and if i do decide to change the rims,
I'm prob. going to ditch the stagged setup and go with same all around.
i know i can leave it, or change the rear tire. but if I'm going to swap rims might as well make it all same size for the AWD.

so that being said , in the rear if i went with a 19x9 with the same tire size as the front now. what offset would i need to keep the rear flush ?

here is a pic

I remember that car

If I did my math right in my head, 1 inch = 25mm, so a 19x9 rear -3 offset will have the same fitment as 19x10 +22

I see no point in going 225 front and 235 rear. Either keep it 225 or 235 all around and use spacers for the rear, or calculate proper tire size for the rear and go really staggered

I'm just trying to figure out what sizes to go with for new set of rims.
everyone knows the car so i guess I'm trying to change it up a little so its more "me" you could say.

so it doesn't really matter, i can just stay with this staggered setup then, as Ive been told before and just switch out the tires so they all match like Ive been told before.

you have to excuse me, Ive read the explanation on tire rack a million times, i must have some mental block, where i just cant get it or figure out the calculations.

i guess now it just boils down to what rims now to go with.

I'm open to suggestions
I'm just looking for proper fitment for a 19" rim that will sit as flush as possible.
the rears are rolled/pulled.

so i don't have to stick with those specific sizes.
i just want a new VIP style rim, that will go with an AWD.

Smile Aggressive Fitment/Offset Question for the Guru's!! (19x9.5 27mm with 275/30 tires?)

Ok, so bear w/ me on this... here's the deal:

So I'm picking up Volks off a member here and he's running this fitment in the rears:
19x9.5 22mm offset (rims are 42mm offset and he's running a 20mm spacer).
His tires are 235/35/19 and he has his lip rolled. He's NOT rubbing.

Okay, I'm about to take these rims off his hands and I'm stuck on which size spacer to buy because my tires are bigger... I'll be running 275/30/19's.
Its ovbiously out of the question to run a 20mm spacer with these tires, but do you think I could get a way with a 15mm??? Or should I play the extra safe route and go w/ 10mm spacers??? I really don't want to run 10mm's btw...

Its my instinct that I could do 15mm spacers being I would be 5mm less aggressive then him which would allow for the larger tire fitment. Its also my instinct that I may not even need a fender roll w/ this.

Anyway, question is now, what do you think? Mikez where you at!!!

chrIS250 if you want to chime in as well, feel free!

Anyone w/ tight fitment's let me know what you think!
