My car rubs the same (maybe just a tad bit more) since i lowered it with Tein S Techs. I honestly don't mind the little rubbing. It's not super annoying and I would rather ride with 35 series tires up front than 30's. Just my .02.

Default Offset?

Hello everyone, i'm new here and i had a question about the offset for a IS350, what is the lowest offset i can fit on there? I want a really aggressive wheel set up... I have some 19x8.5 +43 Volk TE37 from my last car that i tried fitting on the IS... but it's not aggressive enough.

with 19x9.5 the lowest you can go is around +22. if you're running wider in the back, then 19x9.5 +35 would work great.

unless you plan to mod your fenders(i.e. roll them) then you can fit and 11" back there. LOL

I know for a fact you can fit 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 with a +22offset front and back.

This requires some modification if you actually plan on using tires with those wheels (assuming the usual drop).

*IMPORTANT NOTE*

There is a major darkside to running 'nice' offsets, something that has never really been mentioned by all of us... IF you ever drive upon a road that is being repaired/recently filled in potholes you WILL end up with road tar freckles on the side of your car... to keep your car in 'show' condition you will have to frequently use a clay bar. It's a PITA

I did a test fit with a 19x9.5 +30 in the front of mine and honestly could have went more aggressive. Granted I'm only on Eibachs and didn't set the car down(coilovers), but if I was it would have only sunk in more. I'm looking more towards a 19x9.5 +20 in the front and a 19x10 +20 in the rear with coilovers.

Here's a couple pics.....
