it's about the same amount of fender work required as if you were running 10.5 +22.

and you'd have to run the same tire size.

i'd push it and go 275/30-19 at stock ride height.

lowered, 255/35-19.

so 255's lowered? with no fender mods? cause the shop i am ordering them from is telling me +35 offset on a 9.5 wheel wont fit in the back, but i cant see that being true because alot of you guys run way more aggresive offsets.

i just wanna make sure they will fit, lowered on coil overs with no fender work before i give them the ok to order the wheels.

you'll need the stretched tires for fender clearance, so i'm not sure 255's will stretch enough on an 11" wheel, though if you roll the fenders flat enough (along with a pull) you might be able to.

19x9.5 +35 + 255/35-19 should fit in the rear without fender modifications.

some guys run even more aggressive offsets because they've got fender work done. but that doesn't mean it's not possible to run wider-than-oem wheels in the rear without the need for fender work.

projectdna, alright so I've got the +30 Varrstoens!

9.5x19 +30 F
10.5x19 +30 R

Now, I'm dropped on http://www.meganracing.com/product_d...d=542&catid=46 but my shop is telling me that my springs give too drastic of a drop if I don't want to do extreme stretching.

I thought I might ask you for help lol.

1) Should I change my springs? I'm currently at 1.25" with the Megans. See https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...d-for-2is.html for diff. drop heights. You think the Megan is too drastic?

2) I don't want PERFECT fitment of the tires.. I actually kind of like the stretched look. But I want the mildest stretch possible. What tire sizes do you recommend?

Thanks!

1. no.

2. 235/35-19 up front. i want to say 265/30-19 in the rear, but you're safer off with 255/35-19. i think another member is running the same set-up and ran the same without fender modifications, but he was at a lower ride height and eventually needed to roll his rear fenders.

All my fenders are already rolled, just not pulled.. what sizes should i go with then? Look at the diff. between these 2:

Non-stretched tires
http://varrstoen.com/blog/?p=848

Stretched tires
http://www.street-cover.com/2011/ric...xus-is250.html

I think the first one looks absolutely horrible. I'd like to have the 2nd link look. I know that i don't have +22 like the 2nd link, but I'd like to get as close as possible to it.

Btw I'm asking all these questions cause I'm ordering my tires from an online source, as they're much cheaper online. So I want to make sure I get my tires right on the first try.

Thanks!

this guy ran the EXACT SAME SPECS you are running, minus rolled fenders.

what he posted regarding tire size:

and since all of your fenders are rolled, go with 235/35-19 + 265/30-19.

F-Sport wheels? yes, they'll bolt right up and clear the oem IS350 calipers.

OEM IS-F wheels? no, they'll need spacers to clear the oem IS350 calipers.

Alright ordering tires today. But won't the 265/30-19R give LESS of a stretched look than the 255/35-19?

I'm going for http://www.street-cover.com/2011/ric...xus-is250.html look over the http://varrstoen.com/blog/?p=848 look.

Also, what brand of tires do you recommend ordering? I've heard that General UHPs ( http://www.onlinetires.com/products/...p+93w+bsw.html ) are pretty reliable when stretched but how much faster will they wear out than the more expensive brands such as Continental, Dunlop, etc.?

Thanks.

that, or you get a good pull when you roll your fenders.

the 265 is that much wider, despite being slightly shorter. 255 on 10.5 isn't that much of a stretch and is within safe limits, and the sidewalls won't be as upright. you really could do either or and still be okay.

i personally don't have much opinion on tire brand/model - i'll run almost anything, especially since i haven't stuck with a set of wheels and tires for an extended period of time.

but for outright, hands-down street tires, i'd go w/ PS2's and hankook evo v12's.
