Will those wheels fit? START HERE.
projectdna I'm back to bug you
Alright so I've got:
+30 Varrstoens
9.5x19 235/35-19 front
10.5x19 265/30-19 rear
Rolled fenders + Tein S-techs.
Now I'm thinking of getting Roadmagnet springs that will drop my car down to this:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ell-shoot.html
2.0" drop all around. But I noticed he had higher offsets. Will my current wheel and tire setup be able to fit these springs in without rubbing?
Edit: Also, will I need to relocate my fender tabs? And how would I check if I need to? Will it start to cut my tire or something?
Thanks.

relocating the fender tabs was a few pages back, i think...
2012 IS250
Lowered on Megan coils with about 1.5 finger gap on all four corners.
Wheels: Concept One CS-10s light concave
20x9 with a 36mm offset front 20x10.5 with a 45mm offset rear
What would be the most ideal tire size?
Fender modification necessary?
Thanks in advance!

Just got a quick question on sizing. So I bought a set of wheels with the following size:
19x9.5 +35
19x10.5 +35
Now the question is, the seller that I bought it from specified that the effective sizing is exactly the same as:
19x8.5 +22
19x9.5 +22
After doing some math I'm not completely sure why it is exactly the same. 1inch is 25mm so if 8.5->9.5 will yield a 25mm difference. Be easy on me, I'm still learning =/

For the awd to be with the 1% diameter allowed go with 225-30-20 front 255-25-20 rear. I think a good roll is all you'll need.

let's see if i can't answer this is 1,000 words or less...
we all know what offset is: distance between center line of wheel and inside mounting pad.
there are also two measurements that can be calculated from the wheel width and offset, and it's called the "frontspacing" and "backspacing".
frontspacing is the distance between the inside mounting pad and the outside edge of the wheel, and backspacing is the distance between the inside mounting pad and the inside edge of the wheel.
without boring you with math, what your seller has told you is basically this: your new, wider wheels have the same frontspacing as your old, narrower wheels. obviously, the backspacing of your new wheels will obviously greater than that of the old wheels.
thanks for reading.
