my first cable went to **** and wont work if its bent. i just got a new one and its too damn big. why did these idiots at lexus put the aux cable on that little ledge thing so damn close to the cover. i cant use the arm rest when the cable is in. i need a small cable thats actually good quality.

Or you can get a 90 degree plug from radio shack for like $3 and then any cable will work fine with the console closed.

Many folks used the belkin car kit to good result, though unless they've updated it recently it won't charge the 3G iphone or newer stuff due to the change in charging methods unless you add the charging adapter

I got one from best buy that's like 6 feet long, never had any problems with it. sounds great, I even hold my iPhone with the console completely closed and play music from it without any problems.

I'm using the one that came with my JBL ipod speakers. Has a 90* bend so it fits nicely.
