Default Windshield molding problem...

I have this problem, its been getting worse and worse to the point that the top has completely gone away, nothing is covering the painted plastic strips at the top. it is cracking real bad at the bottom.

Who has had this replaced most recently?

My car is under warranty, so I will take it in. Car is 80% of the time garaged, work or home. Has anyone had a dealer say they won't warranty it?

Also how does it come off? Can the tech break the windshield pulling it off?

I had mine replaced under warranty. It's no big deal. Even tho they had to replace mine twice because they broke one of the clips that hold down the molding.

I have had both of mine replaced. Mine were so bad that there was a really excessive wind "whistle" inside the car at highway speeds, it was driving me crazy! After they replaced both of the moldings, and clips that hold them, the wind noise went away! Though the first time they tried to tell me that it looked like someone had "picked" at the rubber, I said "no way" and they just replaced it.

Mine is starting to show. I agree with others, getting it replaced by your car warranty is the best bet (that is if you still have warranty). Good luck.
