Hey all,

I just bought my 2006 IS 250 this weekend and I am new to the lexus scene. I was playing around with the nav trying to figure out how to use it and I accidentally pressed the MAP DVD button on the screen and now i cant get the map to come back up on the screen. It just says "insert map dvd" on the screen no matter what you push. Anyone know how to reset or fix this? Do I need another nav disc? if so how do you change it....my is250 didnt have the owners manual when I got it.

remove the black bezel where the digital clock is (i think the tools are in the emergency kit) and re-insert the DVD disc.

 

what he said...u may have accidenly ejjected the dvd...

Congrats on the car. I did the same thing when I first bought my IS350. Quite different than my RX330 navi.
