Last year Chicago had a lot of snow and this year seems like it is going to be the same. I can't say how pleased I am with the AWD & snow wheels. It's just awesome!
I love the AWD, but I still slip and slide a little too much on turns, and I think it's because of the Dunlaps. Pretty soon, I'll be getting Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons, which I'm sure I'll be putting on by summer.
I don't use the snow setting much. I'm not sure if that's more for just getting out of deep snow, or for actually driving. But I can definitely feel the drag on the snow setting.
hmm, im from new yrok and have driven my 250awd through the snow mannyyy of times. i just noticed now though that you dont have the AWD, which probably makes a HUGE difference, and mine is fitted with all-season tires rather than summer/performance tires. the car handles well in the snow, and with the snow etc on, it makes it very nice. id say the tires were what killed you lol
