250awd no problem at all.

I'm sorry I hope i'm not offending any 250rwd owners, but i'm just wondering, why did you guys buy the 250rwd and not the 350? Only reason i have a 250 was for the awd...

That's the same reason I got the IS250 - for the AWD. AWD was my primary criteria as I've always had 4WD or AWD before. Otherwise I would have got the IS350. I asked my salesman and he said the same. Rarely sold an IS250 RWD-normally didn't stock them.

I got the 250 RWD because the 350 cost Like $15,000 more! In Canada! Boo Canadian prices! If I lived in the US I would have got the 350 forsure. Oh well I like the 6MT even tho everyone else hates it. I have no problems with it at all.

Nicely Stated!!! I remember the fun with my AWD in a theater parking lot for about a minute just right after heavy snowfall.

This is my IS250 this afternoon, I couldn't get up the driveway.... I think I should invest in some winter tires/wheels, the stock one's are clearly not going to work

I wanted to try that today too! (NYC here)
but on my 06 I forgot the pedal dance to get rid of traction control.
I made one fast turn on my AWD and traction control kicked in and slapped me out of stupidity, so I stopped

That was my primary objective as well, for the AWD. The deal swayed me away from a G35.

The IS250 RWD had the option of a manual transmission, other than that I'm guessing price.

I took the IS250AWD for a spin tonight and it handled quite well with the ECT snow. With the ECT on, when you turn and the car senses a slip why does the car refuse to move afterwards?

I live in WI and we just got 11" sonw today. Honestly, don't drive though snow that is 10" or higher cuz that stock my AWD easily, hard to get out even VSC turned off.

so the snow made my week suck.. i got stuck n the middle of the street. i had no traction at all. it took me an hour to get my car in the drive way.. i dropped my tire pressure just about 10psi to get a bit of traction and drive home.. here in victorville ca we got a foot and a half.. being low did not help at all !!!

Do you have any experience with the Goodyear F1s? I'm considering them for my tire replacement on my 250 AWD. I still have the stock Dunlops. Are the F1 a better ride? I plan to use them as my all-year tire.

We got about 8" here in seattle, wa on thursday and my AWD was perfect in the snow with stock Dunlops. I drove at 40 MPH in icy snow street just fine. I did even turn off my traction control and snow mode but only drove 30 MPH but made it home without the traction control kicking back in. didn't turn off everything just the traction control. While all the front wheel drive cars and a 2006-2007 TL swirling around trying to get traction, I was speed off. The only bad thing was all the rattling inside the car. my whole car was rattling because off the dry snow and ice.
