Exclamation IS250 + Snow=

Man what a ride home from work. I have never driven a car that I was holding my breathe so much in the snow. Of course, the summer tires I'm sure didn't help the situation. But then again, who think of Vegas getting 6 inches of snow. The normal 15 minute ride took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was just thinking to myself the whole time, why did Lexus even put the ETC Snow button. I can only imagine how bad it would have been if I didn't push it.

I knew I should have called in sick...

Sorry I disappointed people that thought that there was going to be pictures of a crash

you need snow tires!! maybe you just need to experience the drive with snowtires in snowy weather first. then you will probably notice the huge difference

I feel ya dude! I live south of Seattle, WA and we're getting hit by a big snow storm. Monday I couldn't even get out of my drive way in my IS350 and had to push my car back into the garage! It's my first RWD car, so a learning experience (I just got it back in August). But I took my brother's Celica (which was mine) out which drove fine, sort of miss having FWD...

hahaha here in Seattle man we got hit hard i cant even make it up my damm hill in my 250 and i had to park it out on the street. It was hard comming home track control had to help me not slide down to a ditch plus freezing condition make it turn into black ice. Plus summer tires dont help at all lol....

I live in vegas as well. We had the most snow I have ever seen, BY FAR!!!! in the past 29 years I have lived here. I got stuck a few times, but nothing rocking couldn't rectify. I just plowed through it instead of letting it bother me. In any event I do wish I had my old S4 as opposed to this, BY FAR.

I've never heard snow falling in Vegas. That's crazy!! The ice age is coming. I guess it's time to invest in some snow tires. Now you know what us Canadians feel in the great white north.

Snow in Vegas... guess Hell may feeze over next???

My IS250AWD did well here even with summer tires, you just need to BE CAREFUL on snow/ice... I'd worry about the OTHER folks!!!

Maybe this will make you feel better: we've had 32" of snow already with 10"-12" expected between this afternoon and Friday at noon!!! Our FIFTH Winter Storm Warning, Christmas is still a week away........
