I'm trying to change my DRL's right now and when I install my new lights they don't go on and they make a huming noise. Anyone know what could be wrong? I'm sure it's something stupid but any help would work!

btw the lights are V-LEDS HID WHITE 3W CREE DRL BULBS HB3 9005

 

they come on when you turn on the high beams?

 

yes they do but they are still making a buzzing noise is this normal?

 

the might be... due to the higher wattage. DRL probably not enough juice to power the up.

do you have both sides plugged in?

 

^^ both sides plugged in. I dunno what to do. I thought these would work fine since someone else on the board has em i'm pretty sure.

 

you should be fine. Double check the connections and make sure they are tight and not loose.

 

I should be fine but I don't know whats up. I don't think the buzzing is normal and why is the light only coming on when I put on high beams?

 

to see if their on, start the car, take off the parking brake, put it in drive, put it back in park without using the parkingbrake, go out and look. the humming you hear is from your hid ballast... you need to start the car to see the drl

 

Turn your lights completely off?
