Dark Grey Wood Trim Here I Come! Someone Trade With My Maple Please!
I'm sure the dark gray would look better than the current wood trim but at the same time I won't be surprised if it costs an arm and a leg. I'd probably go with the cheaper alternative, the metallic trim.
I think its a waste to have VDIM in the 250. I can barely trigger the traction control sign now with the standard system.
the people who buys the 250 won't be pushing the car to the point where VDIM will be useful. That's what the 350 is for. Putting VDIM in the 250 is just a gimmick and an excuse to raise the price for the next model year. It's like saying "look we added this new feature you're never going to use".

From the very beginning, the diesel IS220d has the VDIM as a standard feature on Pack Executive and Pack Sport models while the IS250 could not get it, even as an extra option ... do not ask me why !

Thanks god, this trim color is reserved for the japan domestic market !
I think it looks good but would match better if the dash was tan. But since the IS is aimed at young buyers that wood doesnt match the cars personality.
