I wonder how the new wheels look like. don't really care about the grill since I changed it, hope nothing changes to the chrome part :P

 

I can only guess the new wheels and grille will have similar changes to what the GS had for 2008 but im not sure. Hoping ther minor changes and really subtle but well see pics soon in a few weeks. As for how the Ecru interior in the IS its too light for the car im bet it will look like the elegant white in the JDM IS.

I am new to this forum, and to the Lexus family. I am looking at getting my first, an IS 250 RWD. My main question is, I am about ready to buy the car, but it is Aug 12th 2008, and through this thread it sounds like the 2009 IS model is about to debut. My question is, does anyone know when the 2009 would actually be available to purchase from a dealer here in TX, USA? Would it be like Sept 1? Would it be end of Sept, or later, etc? Thank you in advance for helping me with my first Lexus purchase.

If that's the '09, I like our taillights much better. The new clear/white area doesnt' follow any other lines of the car. Looks like an afterthought. I do like the interior though.

 

those rearlights remind me of the camry for some reason.

I like the tail lights. Looks like they added wood to the steering wheel and a new navi unit.

I like the changes to the front but im undecided on the talights. As for the wood and leather steering wheel i hope thats an option. Cant wait to here from Lexus about the US version.
