To my surprise...
I sold my beautiful 06 M45 sport last month to save some $$$ on gas. Ended up Settling for the IS250 with all the toys of the M. I have to admit now that I'm very impressed with the 250. My full tank provided 446 miles today. I was averaging 28 miles in City and 32 on the Hwy. As I am approaching 5K miles in only 1 month, I noticed the better the driving. Pick up is very zippy for not being a 350. The only problem I noticed is the wobbling at high speed. Anyone experience this?
As others have stated, Lexus is in strange new territory with sporty cars, and it seems they have a ways to go yet. The steering feel, response and weight are pretty weak for a smaller sporty car, and the suspension is not much better.
I fully expect that these issues are fixable with aftermarket (maybe F-Sport) parts. I don't complain for the sake of complaining; I complain (and you should too) so that Lexus will make better cars in the future.
P.S. Not to give you buyer's remorse, but there was a recent thread about gas mileage, and there are more than a few of us 350 owners getting well over 400 miles/tank. I recently did a road trip (85% highway, 5% stop-and-go, 10% mixed suburban) and got 424 miles out of that tank. City miles are not as good though...

Yes, a few of us have experienced this and it drives us F@&$ING insane. I'm not sure if it is a problem with some of the cars, or if a few of us (yourself included) are more sensitive to it. I'm planning some suspension changes to address this, so hopefully that will fix everything.

Finally.... I thought I was the one with a wobbling mind for a sec.
Wow...I'm in the same boat as you! I had the M35 sport in 06 and LOVED the handling on that car. It was HUGE but had great control and felt almost like you were driving a go kart. But went to an 06 IS250 because I couldn't stand the 16 mpg and it not being able to fit in my garage cuz it was SO huge! But the wobble is probably becuase you're so used to the other cars that are less sensitive to road conditions at high speeds.
