Thumbs up To my surprise...

I sold my beautiful 06 M45 sport last month to save some $$$ on gas. Ended up Settling for the IS250 with all the toys of the M. I have to admit now that I'm very impressed with the 250. My full tank provided 446 miles today. I was averaging 28 miles in City and 32 on the Hwy. As I am approaching 5K miles in only 1 month, I noticed the better the driving. Pick up is very zippy for not being a 350. The only problem I noticed is the wobbling at high speed. Anyone experience this?

It appears that the steering wheel is very sensitive. The car does not gravitate to the road above 80. Perhaps I am used to driving the Infiniti and the NSX which handles very well.

i didn't notice any wobbling when i'm driving near that speed. i've been around 115-120 and no wobbling.

i usually don't speed, but i can't resist the urge when there is a wide open road in front of me.

no no... the car isnt wobbling... your experencing is the 'floating' feel of the steering wheel when going straight... just go on any straight road and try to hold the car, i think they did this cuz its mostly old ppl who buy lexus and they usually have the hand shakes

LOL!

It sounds like something is wrong! I've taken my car to 135 and it felt very solid. Either it was a very windy day or you have bent wheels, or need an alignment or something of that nature...I would check with the dealer it would probably be covered under warrenty

If I remember correctly, 1st oil change is at 5K right?
I'll just have the techs look at the items you guys noted.

Thanks for the input.

Rear wheel drive cars are designed to be stable at high speed. It doesn't matter if I have the OEM wheels or my 19's on my IS350 and it doesn't wobble a bit at over 100mph, I think it's even more stable at higher speed. There must be something wrong with your car, you should have it checked up.
