Default OEM HIDs

Hey Guys,

Need to expert advice here. I have an 06 IS350, which unfortunately does not have xenon HID. One of the guys is selling an OEM xenon HID with AFS. Its the entire assembly. I'm wondering if this will fit my car and if its a simple plug and play.

Appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks.

In order to make the AFS work properly, you will need to instal a sensor in the driver front wheel well. It is not a simple plug and play. The sensor is also rigged to the steering. You will probably not be able to take advantage of the AFS with an aftermarket. I am willing to bet, the harness is different (OEM HID assembly to Halogen) as well.

Thanks. So if I didn't really care about the AFS, it still wouldn't be a plug and play because the harness is different?

You just need a H11 HID Kit and it will be plug and play.

You wont have AFS but you will have HIDS.

I would think that it would be Plug & Play minus the AFS portion as Brian mentioned above. Probably a lot of work to convert the AFS to work if its possible. I am not certain.

I would ask member Lobuxracer if he can be of help. Try to send him a PM to see if you can get your questions answered.

Good Luck!

Thanks. The reason why i'm considering this is because I'm concerned about warranty issues if I go the HID kit route.
