Default Is this an alignment problem?

When I apply the brakes and approach a dead stop, my steering wheel turns to the side. It takes more than what I would consider a reasonable amount of force to keep the steering wheel centered. I've noticed the steering wheel turns both left and right, so I'm wondering, is this an alignment problem? Or is the IS steering just really sensitive to the road? I don't have this problem all the time...maybe one in five stops. Thanks

Could be "tramlining".

Caliper? Rack&Pinion?.. I hope not. LOL...
Go to a reputible repair shop (not the chain store ones) for front end inspection. The dealer will charge you some just only for inspection.

Good luck.

I say its normal cause I get it too. My car is an 07 and I just had an alignment done cause of a lil accident. car still does it but its mainly do to the road. But take it to the dealer to have them check it out if you feel its an issue.

Possibly alignment but if it happens in both directions (not just one) it's more likely due to road camber.

Normal. Due to the changes in the road.

It can be a combination of tires tramlining and the road condition. I'm assuming your car is fairly new so your rotors being warped are probably out of the question.
