i used the lighter before, and it worked fine. but today i try'd using it n i push down n it wont stay down. its suppose to be pushed down and onces it lit it pops up. the only way it work is if i hold it down for a while. any help?

The spring could be messed up in the cig lighter. And I agree with cspec

 

^^ happened to me to, i dont smoke much so no biggie but still was confused when i pushed it down and it just came back up without staying down

I use a Lexus branded zippo i got at the stealership for 18bucks

 

i smoke but i never liked to use those car lighters......anyway i work at the airport so lighters are free for me! lol

 

I had the same problem. Did you stick your cell phone charger in there? If you did, you probably blew the fuse. I did that and it stopped working. The cigarette lighter is meant only for that reason. Dealer changed the fused for me. It works now.

 

it works when i hold it down. bt ill give it a try 2morrow. i did put a tomtom navi charger in there

well i dont think its the fuse. the green light is still on. if the fuse is blowin out would the green light disappear

 

Wow you smoke in your car.... Well the only thing I would do is bring back to the stealer and try to find out what is wrong with it.
