Anyone here use the Sony Ericcson K790a? If so, how is the bluetooth functionality with your car? Can you see the signal/battery meter, dial from the car?
Ive had it, never used it in a car but that phone isnt that bad, except beware the joystick. the SE's are known to have bad joysticks that seem to poop out after a while. i got rid of mine when i found my joystick to be less responsive, the BT is good though.
Now see....this is a perfect place for this thread:

Anyway, there are a few Sony phones listed on the Lexus site. I believe that the bluetooth stacks used in any newer versions of the phones should perform as well if not better than those listed there. This is far from scientific, sorry.

I was contemplating over the K790a and K800i. The main reason why I went for the K790a because it has 850 band support. From what I've read AT&T uses 850 band and would be a perfect match for the k790a. The k800i is 900 band, it will still work though.
How is the reception with the k800i, and what carrier do you use?

Yes the K800 uses 1900 only in the US, the K790a has the US bands 850/1900
FYI: T-mobile only uses 1900 band so the k800 would be good enough if your under t-mobile. except in rural areas where they use at&ts towers 850 if capable.
Here was my cell phone collection a while back, i kinda stopped buying so many phones haha.
