Just installed HIDs (new member!)
Hey all,
I'm new here. I just purchased an 2006 Glacier Frost IS250 last month. Been browsing around the forums for the past few months checkin' out everyones' rides. I just installed a set of 6000K HIDs. Had a few problems with a bad relay harness, ended up using a direct connection to the factory harness. One of the pics makes it look kinda blue but up close, I think it's really more whitish-blue. Anyways, can't wait to test it out tonight on the roads!

actually I just pulled the yellow park lites out and disabled them (broke one lead one each bulb) then stuck them back in....much cleaner HID look. Note -- I tried LED's in there but they were too blue.

just got home from a night out with a few buddies of mine. man, these things rock on the road. much better than halogens (obviously...).
I actually got a kit from the guys over at 3Bspec. A few friends of mine had ordered kits from these guys and have reported good results. I was originally going to just order the XtremeHID kit from the guys at XenonDepot, but these guys were selling it for $140 OVERNIGHTED to me. Just couldn't pass that up since I'm going back to school next Wednesday. I had a few problems with the relay harness but in the end I used a direct connection to the factory harness and they fired up fine.
I agree...the first pic looks REALLY blue. That was taken with the flash on. From every other angle with the flash off, they are definitely 6000K. I'm really loving the projector lenses and the nice cutoff they give.
llamaboiz, are the VLEDs installed in the parking light socket? I was thinking about picking up a pair of Polarg J-51s for that socket and the puddle lights but I'm not sure how they compare to the VLED line of products. Did you replace your DRLs as well? Looks great btw!
Isnt this jason's thread What kit did you get jason???
Your bulbs almost look like 12000k in this pic.

Parking/city lite: vled 5smt 194/168 type bulb, i tried PIAA's the first time and it just gave me a dot of lite and didnt fill up the reflector.
As for the Polarg lites, i hear their expensive... thou i've never heard any complaint from the guys that have them. I went the xpensive route first with PIAA and it was disappointing.
