Sorry, I personally get annoyed when people say that "IS250" owners complain about the 100hp difference. Please try to say its the is250 RWD owners...I dont want to pick on you and I dont think you meant to offend any AWD owners. I think most AWD folks in a way were forced to get the AWD and not the 350, but could basically afford either one. I just wanted to clarify.

That's ridiculous... the 250 isn't gutless against the 350, it's gutless against other competitors with similar price tags and similar specs. That's the effin' point you people don't get it... you guys really live up to the arsehole Lexus stereotype.

DNA, allow me add to your #1: It's not YOUR car if YOU didn't pay for it, or if you: paid for half, are on some payment plan from your parents, paid for the car while your parents pay insurance (or vice versa), paid with years upon years of saving while your parents covered all other expenses, or paid using proceeds from a trust fund, lawsuit, etc.
Not saying there's anything wrong at all about any of these circumstances. I certainly don't blame anyone for driving this (or a much nicer) car, regardless of how it was paid for. Just calling an apple an apple.

I love my IS250. It looks hot has a grip of features. Everyone that steps into it thinks its freakin Knight Rider. I am happy with the power it has. I don't know what AWD feels like, but the Manual RWD is pretty quick. Quicker than my old Audi 3.0. The Audi has more HP but my IS250 is quicker.
Plus hopefully with a few mods I will push the car up to 225-230HP and I will be real happy with what i got and will feel confident on the road when passing 328's, 330's, and A4's

Things people need to stop saying on this forum:
1) "I expected more from a $45K car."
We get it. We all paid around that price. You're not impressing anybody with how much you paid. Most of us understand what we got for the price... it's on a big piece of paper taped to the rear window of the car when you were at the dealer. Paying $10K more than that guy in the TL only entitles you to RWD, more HP, chunkier front doors, and a muffin at the dealer. That's it. It doesn't come with a masseuse, chaeuffer, or the complete elimination of any car noises.
2) "Lexus has poor customer service because they refuse to do non-standard tasks such as disabling my DRL or giving me a loaner car 2 days after my 16th birthday."
The lesson here: If you can't think of a reason why Lexus would possibly make money doing what you want them to do, chances are, it's a ridiculous request.
3) "I could get the same in a G35, WRK, EVO, etc. for thousands less."
Yes you could have, so why did you buy the car? Idiot.
4) "My MPG is 17MPG, something must be wrong with my car."
Yeah, the problem with the car is that its owner doesn't know how to drive like a sane person.

It is if you have to ask.

I have nothing to say about my car. What ever the part that I am not happy about, I will get to it and replace it.

ERR... not 'you guys', I have never looked down on anyone who has a is250, not everyone has an extra 10k lying around or is willing to go into 10k more into debt. Here in hawaii its expensive enough already so 'here' we understand, you get the best you can afford (in some cases what your parents can afford) and be grateful you got anything to begin with. The way some of you talk, 'why didnt you buy the 350 then...', its like 10k is easy money. Must be nice huh... 
I never hear ben_r and alot of others with 250s complain about the 350 guys, the only ones who seem to complain are certian 250 guys with '350 envy'.

I sure am envious... of the fact that I paid more for my 250 up here in Canada than the 350 owners here paid in the US... just to have a lot of them look down on me and the 250 owners.
In all fairness not everyone is like that but enough to get me worked up. Like the people who say if you think the 250 is underpowered you should've bought the 350... as if everyone can pay the hefty premium.
