^ Me too, so long as you have the premium rims from Lexus and the sports/x package drop I don't think the car needs any other mods.

Random thoughts huh?

So last night I was fast asleep in my comfortable bed and my mind was off in La La land UNTIL...

I started dreaming about driving my car down the Dallas North Tollway on my way home from work on a rainy day. I remember other cars weaving in and out of traffic and all of the sudden there was a NASCAR style pile up in front of me, I hit the breaks and there was nothing I could do to avoid the situation. While I dont recall my car actually hitting anything in my dream, the ending woke me up in a cold sweat... I was stopped in the middle lane of the tollway at the back of the pile up. My car was apparently stalled or dead or something because I couldn't move it. I remember looking behind me and seeing other cars swerve to avoid me, until a Camero came haulin' around the corner, didn't see me in time, I braced myself for impact... that's when I woke up breathing heavily and sweating profusely... Boy am I glad I didn't see the actual ending.

It got me thinking about my car tho... what if, God Forbid, something happened to my car and I would have to replace it? Would I try for a 350 again? Stick with the 250? I basically laid in bed for what seemed like forever thinking about this until I eventually reached the conclusion that I love my current car too much and dont want anything to ever happen to it even if it meant the prospects of the faster 350 at the insurance company's expense!

BTW... I think I had this dream because I had to leave my car at my parents house for the day so I could borrow an SUV to do some heavy lifting this afternoon... Think I was nervous about letting her go??

A defensive driving instructor read a bunch of statistics from the Texas Department of Public Safety a few years ago, and one of them blew me away. In whatever year the stats were gathered, there were 10 times the number of accidents caused by drivers going too slow than there were going too fast. However, the number of fatalities from these accidents were about equal. Basically ... Keep up with the flow of traffic!

I really hate how the driver door won't stay open when I'm trying to get out. It winds up smashing my head about twice a month when I'm not paying attention. I wonder if that has anything to do with my recent memory loss...
