07 IS 250 Navigation override...Help!
Does anyone know how to override the 07 IS 250 Navigation? I want to be able to use it while driving and it's a pain right now to have to be stopped when you need to input something. Someone told me there's a sequence of codes you can input everytime before you drive that will enable the driving usage. My friend has the SUV model and gave me a sequence that he used, but either I couldn't find the volume screen or it's different. Can someone help?
First, you need to find yourself a 2006 NAV Disc. You need to copy the loading.kwi (forgot exactly the name) out of it. Then copy all the files from your 2007 with the 2006 loading.kwi file onto your hard drive. Then reburn the files.
Put the new disc back in, take the battery terminal off (5min). This allows the car to reboot, then hook it up back up. Turn on the car, the NAV will read the new disc and BAM you got yourself the overide.
It's wonderful, I use it and it works like the original one did with no probs.

Coastal doesn't list the IS250 or IS350 in their application guide, and I've never read about any forum members who are using this product on their IS.

I E-mailed them months ago and they said they don't have one for the IS and didn't plan on making one.
