So I emailed my sales person my concerns about the brake dust and the squeaking
and here is the reply.

I have talked with my service mgr. and he has talked with the people at Lexus and checked all TSB reports. At this time there is no campaign for replacing the brake pads. That being said, Lexus is coming out with an improved pad that is suppose to put out less dust and noise, this pad will be available in approximately two months.

i want some free pads, i can't stand cleaning my wheels daily and the imbarrassing squeak in the drive thru.

 

I second that... The brake dust is killing me. Even though Ionly wash the car once a week and have Lexus do it anyway, still.... I want it to last more than two days with my front rims matching the back!

 

I do have brake dust but why are your 250's so bad? I don't have to clean my wheels everyday, its more like every 2 weeks if not more

 

If I dont clean the rims every week they turn black on the fronts and the awful squeaking noise is so embarrassing... I mean especially since its a lexus...

 

I hate the dust, its just sad cause its a damn Lexus but for some reason i don't get the squeaking noise that you guys are talking about, if you brake firmly I don't think you will hear it

 

ITS A FREAKIN LEXUS!!!!!! why are there extra noises comming from the damn car?!?!?!?!? I had a '93 toyota camry in 2000 and it didnt make nearly as many noises as my Lexus....what the hell happened to "with price comes quality"????
