Well, while I was installing my intake into my car, I accidentally dropped the adapter and bolt for the ratchet down in there. The adapter is behind the ECU, the bolt is in the pulley system. What should I do now? Best bet to just tow my car to toyota and have them take it out? Or how hard would it be to do it myself?
Do you mean it went inside the engine or just the engine compartment?
If it's only the engine compartment, go under the car and remove all the covers under the car. See if you can see the area where it could have fallen into. Maybe you can reach it from under the car. It just might be on one of the covers. If not. I would drive the car SLOWLY! on your driveway and see if it falls out. If the doesn't help good luck.
Wait...You dropped something INTO the engine? How did you do that installing a intake? The only way in would be through the throttle body, but you'd have to get past the throttle plate first.

This doesn't make sense...
Did you read his posts? He said one part fell behind the ECU, and the other near a drive pulley. Semantics -- he said "engine" when he should have said "engine compartment".
