By pressing the DISC button twice, the Nav TV Module activates the DVD Changer mode on the Nav Screen which allows Audio and Video inputs.

I know for a fact that when your reverse camera is ON and if you press the MAP Button or anyother buttons, the Camera Input will shutoff.

Like i mentioned previously, simply flipping the switch will bring the input back alive.

yes it works. the audio shop asked me if i wanted to do this while i was getting my tv's installed....basicly they tap into the rear cam and do a video signal from it...i didnt want the 'check your surroundings' display at the bottom so i didnt go along with it.

ya im pretty sure, i didnt go into detail with it...but basicly they install a switch which taps into the rear camera video signal. the 'check your surroundings' caption shows when your rear camera signal is on...add a dvd player into that signal and you should still see the 'check your surroundings' but with video instead of the camera.

i've done the hack/mod. the "check your surroundings" isn't that annoying at all. with dvd's there are black bars on top and bottom anyways. with games (ps2) it might get in the way a little but nothing that annoying. i would have gone for the navtv but it's just way too much.
