Default Lexus Smart Key-Remote Start Set

As seen on
http://www.lexus-parts.com/partlist....22&ModelID=151

Seems interesting, just waiting on pricing, but at least it's a start .

So it isn't an official product for the US, just imported from Japan's parts market?

I'd be on this as well.

For some reason, if there is another IS in the lot with my car, I can see it starting that car too....

I will definitely look into it though.

Hmm where did you hear that?

Carson still has 1 set that no one has picked up to buy. Obviously it is an expensive gamble whether it would work or not.

For those who are genuinely interested, Give Luis @ Carson Toyota a call if you are interested to purchase the unit directly. They have one in stock. I have seen the unit in person...and all the instructions are in Japanese.

As for the sole unit that Carson has. Weren't they supposed test it on their 3GS?

I don't mind testing it on my IS, but I'm not just going to buy it and try it knowing it'll fail. I don't mind having "support" to try it.
