Default Opportunity for '07?

Just got the '06 IS 350 silver, 18'' wheels, spoiler and now I want more. I enjoy this car enough to trade up. The opportunity for a '07 same car but w/ nav came up at the same dealer, but they want at least $5,300 I understand that you can turn off TC in the '07 and it has a shark fin. Really not much different. Yet the instrument pannel in middle is ugly on the '06. I guess it just boils down to how much I want to fork over. If it had sport package and ISP/spyder wheels then it would be a no brainer.

What? Thats totally worth it? I would do it right away. $3500 to trade your car in for a NEW car that also has Nav. The nav is $2500.

SO really its only 1K and you get a year newer car? That sounds like a steal

Just got an updated price difference from the dealer. The '07 also has HID lights and rear camera/bluetooth. Also they want to charge me for the trailer fee for the '06($850) I got just one week ago.. So the total now is $5300 Thet are trying to recoup some $$$ since they know they can sell that '07 once it hits the door.

Also keep in mind that some of that $3,500 you will get back in resale value for a car that is one model year newer.

I think destination

I would say.... if its $5300 out the door, I would do it. If you want navigation

Look at it this way...
$2550 - Nav
$900 - HIDs

Thats 3450, so its only $1850 to get a brand new 07.

Hell, I am spending 8500. I sold my old IS for 33000. And I ordered a new one for 40+tax and tags = 41500

I went to the dealer to see what I could get on a trade, they offered 31000....

What were they offering to you for your car as a trade? And what was the price of their car. If you dont want to discuss it in public, IM Me.

I believe a MSRP of 42k. I think I will do it. It will be more of what I want. This car has a way of making you want more.

and WTF is that description under my username, I am a noob, but not just any noob...eh?

I believe he means the dash without nav. In my opinion, getting a luxury car like this without nav is pointless.
