Back Dome light: uses 2 31mm festoons

Front Dome: uses 3 194 bulbs

After: You can't see it int he picture but I have 2 dots where the leds are. Looks really tacky. I can't seem to fit the refractors into it so i had to use the single ultra bright bulb =/ Any suggestions?

I'm also missing the middle led, gotta buy one more.

 

Side view mirrors: uses 1 194 bulb per side

To open, push up on mirror stick fingers underneath, and pull up as in picture.



Back side of mirror. See the clips that hold them on the bottom? Also notice the top hook clips that must be disengaged.



Once you unscrew the 4 screws, push the light down and out so it pops out.



Once bulb installation is complete, reassemble housing. Push where my finger is to snap housing together.

well there aren't really dots... you can sort of see three circles if you look at it closely, but nothing that's really noticable. its fine for me. i'd take pictures, but my girlfriend has my camera... when i get the chance, i'll take some and post.

 

Vanity: uses 1 194 bulb per side

Pull the entire bezel out, not just the lense

We need more pics of these mods!!! I want to do the mod but I'm trying to figure out which 194 bulb seems to be the brightest/bluest bulb. Any suggestions?

 

you shouldn't really rely on pictures to make your decision. i say for the 194s just get the refractor type LEDs. you can go with the VLED ones or the ones on ebay from china.

how do i change my reverse lights to leds? I bougth the 921's and i took a look but I wasn't sure about taking off all the coverings in the trunk...

 

its not hard actually, just take out one of the pins that hold the cover on. i managed to change them that way, it was a breeze to do and looks awesome now.

 

for some reason i like Blue lights... giving it sort of a Lounge look
