Wood Steering Wheel

Hey guys wasupp .. I dont have my car yet but hopefully i will have it soon in a few weeks. I am doing some window shopping for my car and i need a lil help. I am looking for a luxury wood steering wheel. Something similar to the picture below (AFTER Pic). Does anyone know where i can get one from ?? Or where can i place an order at ?? I would love to get a steering wheel like that cause i am use to the steering wheel in my S500. I would appreciate everyone's help. Thanks in advance guys.

my mom has that in her rx330.. i think it feels soo smooth and nice.. i hate the sliding noise of our 2is steering wheel makes when u slide your hand on the wheel

ya man like i said before i have it in my S500 and its nice... but when i get my IS i would like a steering wheel like that .. cause it attracts alot of attention .. and looks so dang luxurious. I just hope i can purchase one.

vApor21 - You should get one for your car also. That is if we can find one to buy.

wait the car pictured is a 2IS right? if it is couldnt you just get one from japan and put it on?

all i know is.. you can't drive w/ your knees if you have that wheel when both your hands are busy. slippery as hell

well its not that bad cause i have a steering wheel just like that on a mercedes and its not that slippery. But we all have our own personal opinions.

i had an rx330 loaner with the wood steering wheel and after driving with it, i actually prefer the wood over the leather. the leather dries my hand out for some reason. i feel that the wood is actually sticky rather than slippery...

there are places online that make custom steering wheels. you can send them your stock one and have them do it however you want. i think it would be hard to match it to the stock wood though... but other things like CF or a solid color would be easy.

I agree, that steering wheels looks great.

That silver colored trim around the steering column looks bad though...
