Default New IS300 to Replace IS250?

Will it replace IS250
It uses 3GR-FE engine
Maybe it is only for China market.

Chinese market only. But it's kinda cool since everything is true! Toyota DID indeed bring back the IS300! Just only for one market region.

Can't read Madarin/Cantonese, but it looks as if the car has way more torque...

34 fewer ponies than the IS250, though. The engine in the IS250 is a newer, more technologically advanced design with features like direct injection.

170 is in KW. I think that translates to something like 230 horses.

Those figures are in KW & Nm

1KW = 1.34 hp

1 Nm = 0.7376 lb.ft

lol I agree with the numbers. An IS300 wanted to race to next stop light awhile back just for fun and the he left me about 3 cars length.

Ya wish they dont bring that here now because i'd be upset too

I don't think there will be an IS300 for N.America in the near future. But I think it's inevitable there will be an upgrade from the IS250, in say, 2 years time.

I know I read somewhere (can't put my hands on it) that they are using that particular 3-liter engine in China b/c the gas quality is so poor. I also read an article this week in the Wall Street Journal that discussed how poor the gas quality is in that country and how they are struggling with producing as many cars as possible, but the environmental impact they're dealing with.
