Question Aftermarket Mark Levinson

For those of who regret not getting the ML audio, would it be possible to install the ML aftermarket? And if so, how about the DVD player? Is the DVD player a 6 disc changer as well, that you might be able to swap?

Would it be possible..... anything's possible, but it would cost you more than your probably willing to pay for it. And yes the DVD player is a 6 disc DVD changer that can also be swapped. $$$$$$ Your better off spending that money on a even better aftermarket system. $.02

On the GS, someone was able to swap the headunit for the ML unit... and they were able to get DVD capabilities

that piece alone from the dealer would probably cost more than a full aftermarket installed system

True, but perhaps one will show up on eBay or a junkyard, parted out from a totalled car.

this is not for the IS but is a good example of what's available out there.
