Why can't they have this option on the sports package with aluminum trim & metal pedals? Flip? Anyone? Why take this option off? does it make it less luxury & more sporty to not have the illuminated scuff plates hence why it's not on the sports package?

Economics, the extra $20 to have this did not get them into their target profit margin
If you've been in the New GS...you're basically going to see alot of the same thing. White guages and some LCD readouts. HVAC/Steering wheel and radio controls will be Toyota green.

It's not really noticable. Everything looks white to me in the GS. The temp/clock are green though, but it's pretty drowned out by the white-blue glow of the nav screen and the white LED interior lighting, white gauge lighting, white gauge info screen, etc.
