Interested if the following video tutorial for installing the OEM engine mounts in Lexus 2006 - 2013 IS250 RWD (2.5L engine), would be identical to removing / installing engine mounts in the 2006-2013 IS 350 RWD vehicle. Interested in replacing the existing engine mounts and any additional information with regard to mount selection (OEM / aftermarket) and approximate pricing / time process would take if performed at the dealership, would be much appreciated. Considering installing the OEM fluid filled engine mount Part 1236131310 . I believe I had read somewhere that the design had since been upgraded to a better design, than previous part number.

From what I've read in the past. I'd probably stick to OEM mounts. For peace of mind, and any unbearable increase in NVH. I'd hate to do the job twice. PDF from the SC forum's V8. It should provide some insight. At one point I read another tread where it recommended to. Loosen all 3 mounts support the Trans of course. Then Jack up the side of engine mount depending Left or right enough to remove said mount. So by doing this the engine is twisting, up and over allowing you to remove the engine mount. Though I need to search for that thread again.
Here's are some good forum IS F threads on Trans mount/Engine mounts.
Thank you! Believe I'll most likely replace the existing engine mounts with OEM Part 1236131310, however, the FIGS by Superpro Polyecast Hybrid (Elastomer and Polyurethane) mounts (Product Code: L1088), seem to possibly be a good compromise however, don't believe the mounts are available for 2006-2013 IS 350 vehicle (Available for 2008-2014 IS-F / 2015-2023 RC-F / 2016-2020 GS-F).; https://shopfigs.com/v5/L1088?search=engine%20mounts

RR-Racing Engine Mounts https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ne-mounts.html
Reply#1 (JDMV8) RR-Racing is releasing engine mounts. I just had mine installed...what a nice bang-for-your-buck mod like the USRS! First, one of my engine mount bushings was shot (75k miles, 2008). Impression: when electronics are off (as well as AC), the car idles at ~500 rpm and lacks rumble or throttle response from idle.
With sport mode off and the car warmed up, the throttle response has dramatically improved from idle. The car also has an audible idle grunt. Some vibration has transferred itself into the cabin during a 500 rpm idle as well. I personally enjoy it as it adds to a mroe visceral experience of the car (it is by no means a big increased in NVH, but it's noticeable at 500 rpm). With the AC or headlights on, the increase in NVH is subtle (at about 800 rpm idle).
Did locate an additional engine mount video tutorial (non US market). Appears the sub frame may not have to be dropped to install the mounts;
INSTALLING upgraded MEGAN RACING motor mounts on my lexus is250 + Review/drive
i understand pricing will vary per region, and interested if anyone had the OEM engine mounts installed at either Lexus / Toyota dealership or local service shop, and what the pricing was.
With ramps and a jack, this could be done easily in a couple hours tops. I'd leave the trans attached, loosen the bolt from the top down, jack the engine on that side until a gap is seen between mount and isolater, then remove the 4 bolts from block and now you're ready to pull the isolater.
In this manner, there is zero risk of damaging anything by lifting the engine too high. Anticipate these bolts being tight!
Thanks 2013FSport!
To confirm, replacing the mounts would not require removing the subframe, steering rack or any accessories. If unable to accomplish the removal / installation of the mounts with use of ramps / jacks, the same procedure can be accomplished with vehicle on lift, and using a jack to lift engine as you stated. Came across the following video showing engine mount removal / install for GS350 (year not specified and believe it to be non-US market). Does the IS350 have the same structural parts removed from the GS350 per PHOTO 1 below? I didn't see those parts removed from the IS250 per Lexus 2006 - 2013 IS250 RWD (2.5L engine) video in reply#1. It appears jack was placed on edge of oil pan to lift the GS350 engine slightly to access the 17mm mount bolt in PHOTO 2 (Yellow arrow references the jack and Black arrow references the engine mount location). Jack seen at 3:35 then again at 4:17.
Our cars don't have the extra braces like the IS-F, IS-C, and GS.
As for the rack and anti-sway bar, extra work but likely pays off for esse of access. The AC compressor would be tight so, pulling the rack might be a must. Do NOT rotate the steering wheel or by by clock spring.
Looking at those mounts I figured the engine had to go up further, but that wasnt far. No way id jack on the corner of the pan like that. Apparently not necessary to pull the engine brackets. Any jack would do. It doesn't have to be that. Just get some wood on the pan and move it up.
Understood, thank you 2013FSport (Our cars don't have the extra braces like the IS-F, IS-C, and GS). I was inquiring so I'm aware before hand what is needed to remove / install the mounts, if vehicle is brought to a service shop, so the installation is done correctly.
Is the "Clock Spring" (part 84306-0E010) part of the steering wheel assembly? (pulling the rack might be a must. Do NOT rotate the steering wheel or by by clock spring).
Can someone help me. I have a 2022 IS350 and last night my engine bracket snapped. So the bracket that holds the hold on the front driver side. I am trying to do this myself. But i am trying to figure out how? Do i need to bascially take everything apart or just jack up the engine. thanks
The following is a discussion about engine mount replacement etc. for the 2nd Gen IS (2006-2013) vehicle. Unsure if it's similar procedure for IS - 3rd Gen IS (2014-present) vehicle however, OEM part 12361-31112 (front mount - Left / Right) is correct part for both vehicles (2022 IS 350 F-Sport):
