can the front engine mount be removed without removing surrounding parts? I believe if the bracket from the top of the mount to the engine is removed, the mount can be removed from below/top. Many thks for any assistance.

search does not show anything conclusive margate gives the info i quoted above

 

found this for a highlander front mount removed out the bottom of engine bay, Engine was jacked high enough so engine bracket to top of engine mount was not removed.

 

If your replacing your front mount, for sure replace the dogbone (top mount) as that restricts the roll of the motor, which when the bushing is shot, takes out the front mount & possibly the pass side as well.........Use oem Toyota mounts only, one place not to go cheap on........
