Need help finding PN for this ribbon wire
Experiencing some electrical charging issues and neutral saftey switch issues on my rust bucket 2008 IS250 AWD.
Car is giving me bad neutral safety switch symptoms after replacing bad alternator.
When it did start these were the symptoms
- No L/R turn signals
-Dash gear selector not lit up.
- When put into reverse no reverse camera
-No reverse lights
- Car can go into gear without pressing brake pedal!
After some inspection I found this ribbon wire that seems to be a ground for the neutral safety switch that’s in bad condition. I’ve tried finding part number and can’t find it.For clarification this goes from near the safety neutral switch to the body. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably have to do the repair using generic wire and terminals.

Highlighted in yellow. I believe that's the transmission ground strap.
Highlighted in purple below this seems to be the steering rack ground cable. Which is irrelevant to this post. Just putting it out there for future reference.
Part number of transmission ground strap underlined. Again I suggest confirming with a Lexus dealership parts associate.

issues as many people seem to experience something similar. If you have these symptoms after or before alternator goes out.

Check fuse 22 is still in the proper location on the lower driver panel. I was missing my cover and the first link you click on google is INCORRECT fuse diagram.
After I pulled up the clublexus fuse box diagram I realized after countless fuse pulls that I was MISSING a fuse in this location! The terminal was slightly loose and I never found the old fuse in my car. Upon replacing this everything is back up and running 13.6-13.9 volts while running according to OBD2 scanner.
I was also getting parasitic drain from 25A D/C CUT Fuse, MPX body fuse, and DOME fuse in the engine bay which was linked into the same circuit even though those functions were still working. This helped me to double check that fuse with the CORRECT diagram.

Are you now dealing with battery drain issues or is it too soon to know?
But ya, lots of combined knowledge here.
