I didn't even know you could drop below 15 kclv. My engine is begging to be put out of its misery.

At first glance I thought I saw your bank 1 fuel trim was at 47.8. Hopefully you just have some bad gas in that tank and your engine is fine.

Similarly, I too was surprised recently when I saw my kclv.

Nice kclv, how much ethanol do you have in there?
And no it's not bad gas I just have issues with my car currently pinging and what not and can't figure out what's wrong with it

No ethanol, just 91 octane with whatever the injector and cat cleaner added that I dumped in my tank. Check your plugs? Maybe your getting false knock? Are your motor mounts good, have you made sure your exhaust has plenty of clearance?

Really 28kclv with just 91?? That's gotta be unheard of. And yeah I have a whole thread started on my issue, it went away when I replaced my fuel pump but came back unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure the additives increased octane and helped with that as the cat cleaner specifically stated it would increase octane.

What year and how many miles you got? JLSsystems isf was very healthy and had about the same kclv as you but was on an ethonal blend. Also the record NA is350 had about 28 kclv on an ethonal blend as well. Highest kclv I've got with no ethics is around 24 after additives and piston soaking and 27 with about e50. You must have a super healthy engine 👌

Mine is an 07 with ~14X,000 miles, I picked it up with ~60k. Interior has some wear and exterior isn't perfect but I have tried to take care of it mechanically and the only reliably issues I've had were self inflicted.

Damn nice kclv for those miles. And what reliability issues have you brought up on yourself lol

I was also under the impression that it could not go that low, very interesting.

JLS was able to hit 30s when he swapped to TunedbyLoi.

Here's my 30 on 91 octane with Lois tune as well.

My GS350 has seen 26.2 KCLV or so on stock tune, and @ 112k miles. I normally run Shell 93 fuel.

There's some threads on low numbers on the IS-F forums. I think it's do to cracked manifolds, or something like that. Another I've seen in the 9's unless I was reading wrong. I'll have to search for those threads.
